FlareFont is a digital publisher focused on providing traditional publisher services in the electronic marketplace. No matter what genre you write, FlareFont will provide the full publisher experience and distribute your works to the eReader market. You'll reach a much larger audience than if you published through a traditional print publishing house, and you'll end up with a better end result than if you self-published. We are currently accepting submissions for any manuscripts longer than about 20,000 words.
As a writer, you typically have two ways of getting your work published. You can go through a traditional print publisher, or you can self publish. Print publishers will focus their efforts on selling the printed copies of your work, because it costs a lot of money to print the book in the first place. Many print publishers will offer eReader versions of the books they sell, but only promote hardcopy sales and leave the digital versions unadvertised. Print publishers offer a wide range of beneficial services to edit and promote your works, but they're going to focus on selling hardcopies and miss out on the rapidly growing market for digital distribution.
Self publishing has its issues as well. While self publishing on the eReader marketplace taps you into the national and international stores, you miss out on the crucial marketing and editing steps of the publishing process. There are many terrific authors writing for the self publishing markets who would benefit immensely from a simple proofread. Nothing is more valuable to a piece of writing than a second pair of critical eyes to review the work, and assure the quality of the finished product before final publication. And, even if a work is perfect on its own, marketing a self published work in the crowded digital marketplace is next to impossible.
FlareFont Publishing exists to fill the gap between print publishing and self publishing. We will give your writing the love it deserves, assuring that it is the best it can be before putting it on the digital marketplace. We will advertise and market your digitally published work, and bring your writing to the widest possible audiences. And we will not force you to submit through an agent, or let your digital work sit in a corner while we focus on pushing a physical copy.
